Approval of plan and permission to construct/extend/or take into use any building as a factory under the Factories Act, 1948

In order with Business Reform Action Plan in the State of Rajasthan and to facilitate industrialist, RajFAB Portal has been formulated to execute the vision of providing easy and convenient access to the services to the enterprise(s) through remote online access. With the help of the portal, applicants shall be able to apply online for factory registration /renewal/drawing approval/self-certification and boiler registration /renewal/self-certification. Applicants can apply, make online payment, view the application status and download certificats/licence online. User can submit Single Integrated Return under all Labour Acts/inspection compliance/notice of Incident.
This is a mandatory pre-requirement for getting license for all factories except Non-Hazardous Factories employing upto 50 workers.

Providing easy, in time, anywhere and anytime access to various departmental services. services. Ensures privacy and authorized access to applicant's data.
Online only. No need to come to office.
To provide all work/activities related to department done online only and user need not come to office. Reducing direct interaction of citizens with the Government and encourage ā€œeā€- interaction and more efficient communication through the portals.

Reducing administrative tasks and service execution time and cost for the Government and user. Provide paperless and transparent work.

Approval Procedure of Department

Step Action
Step 1 Application is received by the designated clerk who forwards the application to the examining officer.
Step 2 Examining officer examines the aplication and attached documents.
Step 3 If any entry in form is invalid/not correct/not supported
by the attached documents or any attached document is not readable
or correct then the examining officer submit the comments to the
Dy. Chief Inspector of Factories and Boilers/Chief Inspector of
Factories and Boilers as the case may be.
The query will be send online to user to comply with.
Step 4 If complete application/compliance is received then Dy. Chief Inspector of
Factories and Boilers/Chief Inspector of Factories and Boilers
(as per the case explained above the table) approves the application and
generates online approval with scanned sign pasted on it.
Step 5 User can download the signed approval.
